Person Profile | | He will always be remembered as THE James Bond. He was ideally cast given that when Fleming wrote the book, the character was described as being Scottish. He was a body builder with no acting experience when he was cast as the spy. He made Thunderball with his own money therefore owned the copyright to the film. He couldn't resist it one more time and came out of "retirement" to be cast as Bond in the unofficial "Never Say Never Again". There has been rumours that he would reappear in the films but has not come to fruition. |
