Synopsis |
James Bond is sent to the Bahamas where he spies on Auric Goldfinger. 007 befriends Goldfingers betting spy who later ends up painted in gold. James Bond befriends Goldfinger, gains his trust before it all goes pear shaped. Bond is tied up with a laser about to kill him. He manages to escape by mentioning 'Grandslam'. His life is saved for the moment. Goldfinger plans to detonate a nuclear bomb at Fort Knox, the America Gold reserves. the result of which would make the U.S. Governments gold stocks worthless whilst making his stock the most valuable in the world.
